Day 1
I found this note the first week after we moved in. <3 I had to erase it so I could use it for the next 100 days... :( I needed to preserve it, so it is my picture of the day! This definitely qualifies as something that made me smile. I have an amazing boyfriend, and in fact, he is the first thing on my list of things I appreciate.
This guy has changed my life. I never thought I wanted a long term relationship, never knew that I deserved one, in fact. I was so scared to let people have a chance to get close to me, so sure that they would hurt me. Austin has made me feel safe, loved, and happy (or maybe content is a better word) for the first time in my life. He is funny, sweet, smart, and the best thing in my life. I am so glad he and I moved in together. We go together so well, and I can only hope he is half as happy as I am!
Well, we are only on day one, and already I am finding this to be a challenge. My dear friend Koree moved into her new apartment today, and I helped. Luckily I was able to get almost everything checked off of my list before I left. The bad thing is that I still have to clean the apartment, and I am pooped! Moving is hard.
The good news is that because of this project, I was able to fit in 30 minutes of reading, a full hour of singing (with an actual warm up and everything!), and some serious exercise. I am definitely counting moving my friend into an upstairs apartment as exercise...
I also did not drink any soda today, despite my headache, and I stayed within my weight watchers points. So far, so good. Now just 99 days to go. =D
The plan!
This blog was inspired by a page I stumbled upon. For the next 100 days, I am going to set up a routine to make myself a happier me. I am going to try and eliminate the clutter in my life, and improve my health, relationships, and hopefully improve my state of mind. I am going to cut out unnecessary stress and add things that I have been putting off for far too long. Most importantly, I am going to make every effort to keep this 100 days positive. I want to cut back on worrying, thinking negative thoughts and allowing myself to wallow. This WILL be a good 100 days!
So here is the plan...
I will have a daily routine to follow to make sure I am keeping on task. Also, I am going to keep a to do list. Every Sunday, I will build my calendar for the next week. That calendar will add things to my daily routine, such as items on my to do list, social events, or big projects. Yes, this is a lot of structure, but it is only 100 days!
So here is my daily routine:
Tomorrow it begins! My "to-do" task for tomorrow is to write up a calendar for myself. I need to prioritize and plan out how I will spend this next week. So excited. This isn't going to be easy, but I have a feeling I will be glad I did it!

So here is my daily routine:
- I will track my weight watcher points every day, drink 8 glasses of water, give up soda, and track my weight in an attempt to improve my health. I would like to loose 25 pounds by the end of this 100 days.
- I will do one thing everyday for at least 20 minutes to expand my creative mind. Either I will write a book that I have wanted to write, play with Austin's art supplies, or work on my singing voice.
- I am going to journal each day on this blog. I want to include one thing I appreciate in each post, regardless of the type of day I have been having.
- I am going to stop eating out, and start cooking! I enjoy cooking, and it saves us a lot of money. So why not??
- I will take a picture of one thing each day that made me smile.
- I will clean my apartment every night so I can start the morning in a clutter-less place. No stress to start the day.
- Along the same lines, I will wake up every day with plenty of time to get ready before work. No rushing out the door.
- I will either spend 20 minutes with a band I have never listened to, or a book I have never read.
Tomorrow it begins! My "to-do" task for tomorrow is to write up a calendar for myself. I need to prioritize and plan out how I will spend this next week. So excited. This isn't going to be easy, but I have a feeling I will be glad I did it!
